The Governance Proposals category is a place to make proposals to improve the Orca protocol.

To make the governance process simple to follow and consistent, proposals must be submitted using the below template.

**Summary**  
Introduce yourself and give a simple 2-5 sentence explanation of what you are proposing and why it benefits the Orca protocol.

**Motivation**  
Explain the problem you are looking to solve and why you’re trying to solve it.

**Description**  
Explain your solution. Be as thorough as possible. If the proposal is technical, add technical details to this section.

**Compensation**  
If you are asking for compensation as part of the proposal, add the desired amount here.

**Conclusion**  
Summarize your proposal.
